As a filmmaker, my goals are driven by the creativity and passion that goes into making a film. Through film, I am able to create an alternate reality, go above and beyond, and truly invest my imagination and vision into a single work of art where there are no limits. That freedom is truly inspiring and is the foundation for what I strive towards, which is to inspire others. Though the process of filmmaking itself is continually evolving due to innovative advancements in technology, one thing remains the same and that is visually telling a story. Above all else, I dedicate myself to the story and to evoking an emotion from the audience. Of course, no film is ever made by a single person. Film consists of many artistic individuals coming together to create a final work of art and therefore is a team effort. Leading a team of talented people who share the same passion for the art is just another part of filmmaking I enjoy and I believe that a great leader not only gives direction, but also takes direction. Francis Ford Coppola once said, "There's nothing creative about living within your means." I could live my life without making films, but that is not a life I would enjoy nor choose.
